Blue’s feet once again reached the stinging chill of the ocean. His toes wriggled about in the mud-like sand as he hesitantly inched forward into the water, watching as the foam coated his feet and ankles. The wind and waves were really beginning to pick up now; he wasn’t sure how the storm had moved in so quickly. If he didn’t hurry up, then things would get too dangerous to swim. Heck, he shouldn’t even have been trying to swim at all with the lack of practice he’d had over the years.
